Responsibilities
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in Node.js or Python
- Design scalable data models for policy versioning, approvals, and audit history
- Integrate with AI/LLM services and ensure reliable, low-latency responses
- Own infrastructure reliability, monitoring, and performance
- Collaborate closely with the product and AI teams on new feature development
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js or Python, PostgreSQL or similar
- Experience building workflow or document-management systems is a strong plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, small team environment
- Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate
Be the regulatory backbone of Syasa. You'll translate Saudi compliance frameworks, NCA, CMA, SAMA, and Saudi Labor Law into the structured policy templates and review logic that power the platform. Your domain expertise directly shapes what thousands of governance teams will use every day.
Responsibilities
- Map Saudi regulatory frameworks (NCA ECC, CMA, SAMA, Saudi Labor Law) into Syasa's policy template library
- Review and validate AI-generated policies for legal accuracy, regulatory alignment, and Arabic terminology
- Define compliance checklists, approval criteria, and audit trail standards within the platform
- Act as the subject-matter expert during customer onboarding and policy review sessions
- Collaborate with the product and AI teams to encode regulatory logic directly into the platform
Requirements
- 3+ years in GRC, compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs
- Deep familiarity with Saudi regulatory frameworks, NCA, CMA, SAMA, or Saudi Labor Law
- Experience writing, auditing, or reviewing corporate policies
- Strong professional writing skills in Arabic
- Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate
Push the state of Arabic language understanding to make Syasa's AI generate legally-sound, contextually accurate corporate policies. You'll work at the intersection of NLP research and real-world product impact.
Responsibilities
- Fine-tune and evaluate Arabic language models for policy generation tasks
- Build evaluation datasets and benchmarks for Arabic legal and governance text
- Identify failure modes and improve model accuracy, fluency, and compliance alignment
- Research Arabic-specific legal language patterns and terminology
- Collaborate with the product team to ship model improvements as real features
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in NLP, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or equivalent research experience
- Native or professional-level Arabic fluency (written)
- Hands-on experience with transformer-based language models (fine-tuning, RLHF, evaluation)
- Research publications are a plus, not a requirement
- Contract role with potential to convert to full-time
